The house where composer Franz Liszt was born is in walking distance, as is the Liszt Concert Hall. The area around Raiding is renowned for its Blaufrankisch red wine.  Parts of the ancient Roman Amber Road are still visible near Raiding, which is located an hour’s drive from Vienna.
